Comparing the two: - the Bell face-lift actually works with minimal effort, compared with the HJC which I couldn't get open half the time. - the Bell has less wind noise - the Bell sunglass shield mechanism isn't perfect, but it still seems better than the chinsey HJC - interior pad quality seems about the same for both - The size large Bell helmet fits me well, and the size medium HJC fits me well - the Bell was a little less expensive So far, after day 1, I love this helmet. Not only does it look great, it keeps my head warm and safe. I got the "matte" black color, but when I got it, it was more of a "satin" black. That's not a problem because I was hoping it was satin black. The flip down visor is pretty sweet as well and I like that it has the easily changeable lenses. The only problem I have noticed is that I get a good amount of wind under the chin. A chin curtain or wearing a balaclava will probably help things if you don't wanna feel windy. It's not really loud, like people say, it's manageable.Update: It Has enough room to fit a bluetooth device on either ear so you don't have to worry about stopping to pick up an important call! |
